Venus is portrayed coming out of a shell with her long hair flowing about. Inside is a painted STAR. This handsome Limoges box is artfully and colorfully hand-painted with great detail and has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors. The box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an SHELL clasp. This Limoges porcelain box is meticulously crafted entirely in Limoges, France and bears the insignia of the artist.
