The outstanding Limoges box is beautifully hand-painted to depict a shop in a brick building that you may see in any small French town or village. The sign at the top says "Beurre, Oeufs, Fromages" for butter, eggs and cheese. Hand-painted with great detailing and crafted entirely in Limoges, France. The Limoges box features hand-hinged metalwork and clasp. Hand signed at the base with the initials of the artist.
