A Historic Memento! This exquisite Limoges box features the EIFFEL TOWER during the 1889 PARIS WORLD FAIR. The Eiffel Tower is beautifully hand-painted with 24K Gold with flowers all around. Groups of people are visible through each panel on the Tower. Inside is the inscription "Paris 1889" with 24K swirls. This outstanding Limoges box is artfully and colorfully hand-painted with great detail and has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors. The collectible Limoges box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an ornate clasp in the shape of the French Montgolfier (hot air balloon). This Limoges porcelain box is meticulously crafted entirely in Limoges, France and bears the insignia of the artist.
