This most charming Limoges box represents a MAIL BOX on a stand, elaborately hand-painted with flowers, birds and butterflies all around. A CAT is painted on the Mailbox, attempting to catch a butterfly. A letter is visible through the slot of the Mailbox. Inside is a painted envelope as well. This beautiful Limoges box features ornate metalwork and stand with a bird clasp. Crafted of fine French porcelain and hand-painted by master artisans in Limoges, France with the insignia of the artist at the base.
