Inside is a painted blue and gold STAR OF DAVID. The nine-branched menorah, used on Chanukkah, commemorates the miracle that a day's worth of oil for the Temple menorah lasted eight days. This exquisite Limoges is artfully and colorfully hand-painted with great detail, generous use of 24K Gold and has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors. The box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an ornate clasp. This Limoges porcelain box is meticulously crafted entirely in Limoges, France and bears the insignia of the artist.
