A Highly Detailed Limoges! This very charming and colorful Limoges box represents a LIGHTHOUSE on the rocky cliffs. The lighthouse keeper is walking up to the door from his boat. Inside is a removable porcelain LIFESAVER. Depicting a lightouse in brick with bold black stripes, this collectible Limoges is artfully and colorfully hand-painted with intricate designs in great detail. The Limoges has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors. The box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an ornate Anchor clasp. Crafted entirely in Limoges, France with the insignia of the artist at the base.
